In-Person - Modern Slavery Spring Forum: From Slavery to Freedom - London

A Modern Slavery Spring Forum is being co-hosted by The Salvation Army and Wilberforce Institute to bring together practitioners, researchers, survivors with lived experience and key stakeholders to exchange ideas, interventions and experience to help improve responses and inform policy.
Key themes will include:
  • Migration – displacement, repatriation, remediation
  • Migration Policy - and impact on victims of trafficking
  • Survivor Engagement – Inclusion, experience, feedback, cultural competency
  • Trauma – trauma-informed practice, PTSD, victim-survivor support, vicarious trauma, spiritual and religious abuse.

A webinar featuring Dr. Arnon Bentovim, Child and Family Psychiatrist, Visiting Professor Royal Holloway University of London and Jenny Gray OBE, Social Work Consultant and Ex-President of the International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect.
